The vast carnival of human experience is the overarching theme in my work. Painting, drawing, visual narrative and comics are intertwined, evolving into an ongoing autobiographical and observational societal discourse. All is fair game. Inspiration comes from my own life experience, history, art history, current events and the swirling zeitgeist with humor playing a not inconsiderable role. In all of my work, I aim to record the visceral experience of being human.

I am a multi-disciplinary artist with a focus on painting and visual narrative. My work published by The New Yorker Magazine and other publications. Currently, I teach visual narrative and live just outside Philadelphia.
